VIDEO: Chief Justice Torkornoo’s facial expression towards former President sparks controversy on social media

Social media is blazed with a video of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo and a former President, John Dramani Mahama.

The Church of Pentecost at their General Headquarters at Gomoa Feteh organized a two day National Development Conference from Wednesday, 26th to Thursday, 27th July, 2023.

The conference is on the theme ‘Moral vision and National development’.

The program, on the first day, was attended by the Vice President who represented the President of Ghana, the two former presidents, John Agyekum Kufour and John Dramani Mahama. Other key personalities were the Speaker of Ghana, Rt. Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin and the Chief Justice, Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo.

The hall, which was full of audience drawn across the country and even beyond, witnessed a sad moment when the former President, John Dramani Mahama acknowledged the Chief Justice in his presentation.

The Chief Justice, who seemed not happy with the Former President Mahama’s acknowledgment was captured on video with a bizarre facial expression.

Few moments after the video was dropped, social media has been inundated with numerous comments where majority of the general public expressed shocked and disappointment in the attitude by the Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkornoo.
