We need more women in leadership to change the fortunes of our people – Dormaahene

The overlord of the Dormaa Traditional Council and the President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefo Dr Agyeman Badu || has encouraged the women’s wing of the National Democratic Congress in the Bono Region to work hard to contribute to change the fortunes of the people.

His Royal Majesty Osagyefo Dr Agyeman Badu || made this comment when the Bono Regional Women’s wing of the opposition National Democratic Congress, the NDC, together with their Parliamentary Candidate for Dormaa East, Hon Racheal Owusuaa paid a courtesy call on him and his subjects at his palace on Sunday, June 11, 2023.

The delegation, which was led by the Bono Regional Women’s Organizer, Hon Hajia Fati Abubakar, was to officially introduce Hon Racheal Owusuaa, the Dormaa East Parliamentary Candidate to the Royal Majesty ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The Royal Majesty in his introductory address, congratulated Hon Racheal Owusuaa on her victory in the parliamentary primaries and urged her to work harder in her quest to win the parliamentary seat in next year’s general election.

”Ghana needs more women in all spheres of our life; more especially in governance to change the fortunes of our people and the time is now for the leadership of the women’s wing, together with the female parliamentary candidates to work harder to serve as a motivation to the younger girls” Osagyefo Agyeman Badu || stated.

On behalf of the delegation, Hon Hajia Fati Abubakar, the Bono Regional Women’s Organizer, expressed appreciation to His Royal Majesty Osagyefo Agyeman Badu || and his subjects for the warm reception and their invaluable advice offered them.
