The NDC youth wing in Bono East, applauds His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for his intention to revisit the issue of collapsed banks and several other financial institutions.
We the youth, believed that, the decision to have collapsed the banks in the first place was very unfortunate, uncalled for, very wicked and insensitive to the plight of the over fourth two thousand (42,000) young men and women who had their livelihood anchored to the survival of these financial institutions.
A total of four hundred and twenty(420) financial institutions were collapsed out of greed, jealousy and evil machination by this clueless Npp administration. This senseless collapse of these financial institutions, sent over 42,850 young Ghanaians out of decent jobs. These and several other issues are the reasons why we welcome the former president’s decision to revisit the unjustifiable collapse of the financial institutions, investigate especially, why over 25 billion Ghana cedis was used in the financial clean up and yet, some customers are still struggling to recover their deposits?
Again, we are of the believe that, if the intention of the former president is allowed to see the light of the day, it will bring more hope of job creation to the youth, prevent future political witch hunting of financial institutions in our financial landscape and more importantly, promote due deligence in our financial sector.
We will also like to employ the former president to as a matter of law, let heads roll especially in the regulatory body should there be any financial lost to the state as a result of this wasteful and needless clean up.
We further pledge our commitment and support to working so hard for the NDC to come to power. This we believe is the only way the good intentions and visions of his Excellency can come true. We are further committed to rebuilding the Ghana we all want.
Long live NDC!!!
Long live Ghana!!!
