2024 Polls: NDC will work with EC and all stakeholders – Former prez Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama has said that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will work with the Electoral Commission (EC) and all stakeholders involved in the electoral process ahead of the 2024 general elections.

He assured supporters and members of the party that God will grant the NDC victory in the next election.

He, however, asked party supporters to be vigilant and observe the electoral process including counting and declaration of the results.

During a campaign tour and interaction with delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Awutu Senya in the Central Region on Tuesday, March 27, he “we are ready to work with the EC and everybody involved in the election because we know in 2024 God will give us victory.”

He added, “By 1 am NDC will get its results and know that we have won.”

Mr Mahama is camping to be elected flagbearer of the NDC ahead of the next elections.

He is being contested by former Finance Minister Dr Kwabena Duffuor, former Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Kojo Bonsu and one businessman Ernest Kobea.

But Mr Mahama says he is the best person to be elected flagbearer because he has the experience.
