Poor leadership by NPP govt has retarded Ghana’s devt – John Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama has indicated that it has become obvious to him and Ghanaians as a whole that the lack of effective and proactive leadership in NPP government is the main cause of Ghana’s lack of development.

He said that good leadership transforms and makes good use of available resources mostly with the loans secured for the upliftment of societies and the county at large.

Former President and presidential candidate hopeful was addressing members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in both Sunyani West and East during an encounter which was organized by the constituency executives on Monday.

He noted that, his government (NDC) before leaving office was constructing roads, building health centers, Educational facilities and many more but unfortunately after they left office the Nana Addo led NPP government has neglected all Infrastructures which were initiated by the NDC government which clearly shows how incompetent this NPP government is.

He said upon all what the NPP government in 2016 and 2020 said by describing themselves as economic wizards and among others that inherited his thrown after 2016 elections, Ghanaians were expecting more development and progress, but it has now appeared that the country is backtracking in development after all their sugar coated words.
