Former President John Dramani Mahama has celebrated women on the occasion of International Women’s Day (IWD).
In a Facebook post, the former President, said men owe women a debt of eternal gratitude.
He said: “Today, we honour and celebrate our incredible mothers, sisters, wives, female staff and friends.”
“Continue to make our world so much better,” Mr Mahama urged women.
According to the former President “You [women] inspire us all to be better and to do better, and for that, we owe you a debt of eternal gratitude.”
Today, Wednesday, 8 March 2023, marks IWD.
This year’s celebration is on the theme ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’.
