Operation restore your sight: beneficiaries commend Suncity Radio and partners for kind gesture

Some beneficiaries of the ongoing free eye screening exercise dubbed “Operation Restore Your Sight” which is organized by the Suncity Medical Outreach team have commended the medical team and organizers of the program for the kind and thoughtful gesture.

In an interaction with Suncity News team, some beneficiaries of the program lauded the medical team for exhibiting a high level of professionalism.

“I heard about the program on Suncity radio and decided to come. The process has so far been smooth, the doctors have demonstrated a high level of professionalism, there is no cheating and the doctors are respectful too. I’m glad I came and I urge anyone with eye problem to take part in this exercise,” One of the beneficiaries said.

 

The first phase of the program which commenced on Monday 6th February 2023 at the Kwatire Government Hospital is expected to end on the 11th of February 2023.

An estimated number of about 400 people including school going children have so far benefited from the exercise.

The free Eye Screening and Surgery exercise forms part of efforts by the Suncity Medical Outreach team in giving back to society and also ensuring sustainable healthcare delivery in the Bono Region. The date of second phase ( Free Eye surgeries) will be announced soon to the general public ,
