The VVIP Lounge at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) will be closed down temporarily for two weeks effective tomorrow Tuesday 31st January 2023.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration announced this in a statement on Monday, January 30.
The aim of this new directive, the Ministry said, is to enable the restructuring of the lounge for efficient travel and to meet international standards.
“While expressing apologies for any inconvenience the closure might cause, the Ministry encourages users of the lounge to patronize the Commercial Important Person (CIP) lounge and the Business Lounge at Terminal 3,” it said.
