The Ghana Revenue Authority GRA has reportedly began looking into the activities, personal details and registrations and tax obligations of 17 companies associated with the double identity of embattled Man of God Victor Kusi Boateng alias Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.
The GRA is expected to take action against Victor Kusi Boateng independent of the findings of CHRAJ should they find him culpable in their own investigations covering taxes and possession of double Tax identities with intent to cheat the state.
The GRA has therefore reportedly put together a team that us currently examining the dealings of the man of God and the companies associated with him, including allegations of multiple Tax identities.
The GRA Investigations Team will also be looking into the activities of Onpoint 1 Laundry Limited, Qharis Consortium Limited, Duna Media Production, JNS Talent Centre Limited, the Four Bs Company Limited, Anibees Petroleum Limited, Great Speed Engineering and Construction Limited, Lloyds General Risk Limited, New Wave FM Limited and Dunamis Insurance Brokers Limited among others.
It is not immediately clear whether GRA will release the result of their audit to the public or issue a public statement.
MyNewsGh.com has also been informed GRA is undertaking thorough investigation over the serial leakage of private citizen Tax registration data to Member of Parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
The State Tax company believes the unlawful sharing of GRA database is a breach of the law and doesn’t engender confidence in the state body, especially when dealing with foreign individuals and corporates keen on confidentiality in shared data.
The NDC MP has made serial allegations against Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, the Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral whom he alleges is also known as Kwabena Adu-Gyamfi.
The lawmaker said Rev. Kusi Boateng does not only operate under multiple identities but also under different biological mothers with two Tax Identification Numbers — Victor Kusi Boateng name as P0002502682 and Kwabena Adu Gyamfi P000627241X.
