wo male adults have been confirmed dead while 11 others are hospitalized after a bus run into a stationary vehicle on the Kumasi-Offinso Highway.
A KIA granBird bus with registration number WR 621-17 which was travelling from Zebilla to Kumasi run into a faulty articulator truck with registration number AS 1756-X parked on the shoulder of the road at Denase close to Kodie.
The two unidentified male adults between the ages of 33 and 40 years died on the spot.
11 other passengers in the bus are currently on admission at the St. Patrick Hospital at Offinso.
The incident happened at about 6 am on Friday.
The Police at Kodie have begun investigations into the incident and have also launched a manhunt for the driver of the faulty truck.
The vehicles have been towed to the Kodie Police station.
The bodies of the deceased have also been deposited at the St. Patrick Hospital morgue for identification.
The remaining passengers, however, managed to continue with the journey.
