Leave Our Bonds; Sack Finance And Transport Ministers

As an association, we are cautioning the government to desist from aiming at our bonds in their bid of restructuring the economy.

We would like to draw government attention to the fact most of our members and others with our sister Unions and associations have also purchased government bonds.

As an association, we have consistently drawn government’s attention to factor that Ken Ofori-Atta is the cause of the derailing of our economy but it fell on deaf ears.

In as much as we desire to see the economy bouncing back, we cannot allow government to temper with our hard earn investments.

We are by this release cautioning the government , any attempt to touch our bonds as part of it’s debt restructuring policy shall us streets ,including the blocking of major roads and accesses with our vehicles.

The only remedy for this country to sack the finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta

We have also monitored kneely the activities of the current transport minister and te level of incompetency he has been exhibiting.

This current transport minister is the worst Ghana has ever had since the formation of transport unions and associations in Ghana.

There has not been single stakeholders engaged members on how to encourage investors to invest in the transport sector.

This transport minister sits in his office with knowing the real transport challenges on grounds and not visited any transport Union, Association or operator.

We calling on the government to as matter of agency revove the appointment of this arm chairm minister.

Signed….
