Banda MP supports 143 tertiary students with GH₵243k for the 2022/23 academic year

The first deputy minority chief whip in Ghana’s parliament and the honorable member of parliament for the Banda constituency, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, did what he does every year for all tertiary students in his cherished constituency. 143 students received payments totaling 243,000 Ghana cedis to help cover their tuition costs for the academic year 2022–2023.

This is consistent with the MP’s goal of enhancing the human resources of young people in the area and achieving MDG 2.

With these initiatives, the member of parliament has helped to prepare young people from Banda for a variety of profitable careers worldwide. The constituency can currently claim of having medical doctors, physician assistants, doctors of pharmacy, doctors of medical labs, nurses, Bsc Finance, MBA Finance, lawyers, certified public accountants, etc.

The youth, their families, and loved ones showered him with gratitude and, as usual, promised to keep him as their representative in Parliament come the 2024 general elections.
