Nothing wrong with Meek Mill Shoot, Even Whitehouse Features in Movies — Oppong Nkrumah

Various reports on social media is suggesting Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has justified the Meek Mill Video incident at Jubilee House.

The claim was first made by a parody Twitter Account that mimics the Founder of GN Bank Papa Kwasi Nduom.

“There’s nothing wrong shooting music video at the flagstaff house, White House is mostly seen in movies – Kojo Oppong Nkrumah,” the post said.

The claim has been repeated on various social media platforms with the Minister receiving insults for what he is alleged to have said.

Checks by MyNewsGh.com however indicate the Minister has not said anything about the Meek Mill incident since the Hip Hop Star even arrived in Ghana.

The Minister has also not authorized any statement to be released about the latest incident nor has he posted about it on his social media.

Therefore the claim that Oppong Nkrumah said “there’s nothing wrong shooting music video at the flagstaff house, White House is mostly seen in movies” is False.

Ghanaians on social media have been expressing their outrage against a music video allegedly shot by US Rapper Meek Mill at the seat of Government, Jubilee House.

In a music video snippet that has been shared online, Meek Mill is seen at various sections of the Jubilee House with his “gang” shooting the music video.

Meek Mill is first seen at the frontage of the compound of the main Jubilee House Building rapping while the. The video moves to the inside of the seat of government.

Meek Mill and his entourage while appearing to be rapping were seen making their way into the Jubilee House tunnel towards the reception while still rapping in the video.

It is not yet clear whether the video was officially shot or it was an amateur mobile video shot into a clip and whether it had official permission.

Meek Mill has since pulled down the video and apologized for his mistake. He takes full responsibility for the controversy.
