Dubbed “A Session with Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang”, the residential workshop drew selected female members of the Professional Forum from the 16 regions of the country.
The program took place in Sunyani, Bono Region in December 2022
Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang encouraged members to foster a closer relationship among members, enhance networking opportunities towards knowledge and skills sharing.
Other speakers at the workshop included Dr. William Ahadzie’s who spke on “The history of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its ideology.
He refreshed the minds of participants on the foundations of the thinking and programs of the party.
Professor Akua Britwum also addressed the group on “The Gender Agenda: The role of Proforum Women in the development of the NDC”.
Her presentation brought participants to speed on contemporary matters on gender justice in Ghana, the essence and status of the Affirmative Action Bill and other related matters.
The workshop also touched on topics bothering on “Realizing a Common Goal, Connecting with the larger Community, Membership Drive and Future Activities”.
