People Are Using The Party For Business In Opposition; We Need Asiedu Nketia To Win Power In 2024 – Ashanti Regional Vice Chairman

The Ashanti Regional First Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Capt. John Kwame Jabari has revealed that some people are using the party for business in opposition.

Speaking in an interview on Abusua FM monitored by InsiderGH.com, Capt. Kwame Jabari revealed that there are some people who are busily using the party for their personal gains instead of working for the greater good of the party.

According to him, while some of them are busy doing everything humanly possible to win power for the NDC in 2024, there are other people who have also decided to work against the interest of the party.

He stated that the people who have decided to do business with the party are already comfortable, the reason for which they have refused to join them in the fight to bring the NDC back to power.

He further alleged that the Ashanti regional chairman, Mr. Augustus Nana Kwesi Andrews is only supporting Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo because of his selfish interest.

He made reference to a certain audio, in which Chairman Nana Kwesi stated that it is only Ofosu Ampofo who can help him [Augustus Nana Kwesi Andrews].

He stressed that there are some people who are trying so hard to buy the party with money but as far as they’re alive, that will never happen.

According to him, they will do everything within their power to ensure that Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia becomes the National Chairman of the party.

He also revealed that on Friday, the Regional Executives of the party were scheduled to meet Asiedu Nketia at the regional headquarters but the Regional Chairman, Mr. Augustus Nana Kwesi Andrews, locked his office and left.

According to him, they hold all their meetings at the Chairman’s office.

He revealed that they have even met quite a number of aspirants in the upcoming election at the Chairman’s office.

He noted that though Asiedu Nketia delayed a bit, the Regional Chairman should have waited for a while, just like they have done to other aspirants.

He expressed disappointment in the Regional Chairman’s attitude, noting that the fact that they’re all supporting different aspirants shouldn’t be the reason for him to disrespect Mr. Asiedu Nketia.
