Today, 5th of December 2022, Representatives from Madamfo Ghana Foundation, a German based Non-Governmental Organisation in tandem with the Member of Parliament for Jaman South Constituency, Hon.Williams Okofo-Dateh visited the good people of Dodosuo.
The two parties presented to Nananom and the entire community a completed 6-unit classroom block with other ancillary facilities including a Mechanised borehole, Office, Store room, Toilet and Computer Lab to enhance teaching and learning in the said community.
The said charitable organisation received a formal proposal in a joint request from the Assemblyman for Dodusuo Electoral Area, Hon. George Appiah Nyame and Hon.Williams Okofo-Dateh, MP for Jaman South.
Upon receiving the proposal, Madamfo Ghana Foundation programme also advertised the project which subsequently attracted two German based financiers[ Mr. Thomas Degott and Uschi & Hans Winkels] who funded the entire project.
The project started in the month of May 2022 and completed in November 2022. All the classrooms blocks are stocked with furniture and the Computer Lab fully furnished with Computers and other ICT equipments.
God being so good, proposals for other projects have been submitted to the same Organisation and we are receiving positive feedback. Very soon, another big project will be executed in this very Constituency.
The Chiefs of the area have expressed their deep gratification to the MP not only for this project but his recent support for the continuation of the Dodusuo Clinic which was abandoned for over 20 years.
During the inauguration ceremony of the aforementioned project, the MP presented Certificate of appreciation to Madamfo Ghana Foundation and its sponsors. He also made a solemn Promise to support the good people of Dodosuo with an amount of Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (5,000.00) towards the construction of their self initiated Police Station Project.
It must be noted that, this is not the first time Hon.Williams Okofo-Dateh has secured a deal with the said NGO to support developmental projects in the Jaman South Constituency. In the month of February 2021, he partnered the same organisations to build a mechanized borehole for the people of Adiokor No.1. In the month of August 2022, He secured School Desks for Japekrom Islamic Primary School from the same NGO.
We humbly plead with the general public to rally behind the MP in his quest to seek developmental projects for the good people of Jaman South.
Thanks to Hon.Williams Okofo-Dateh
