Sad news as Maha Ayew collapsed after her father’s penalty miss | Details

Andre Ayew, the captain of the Black Stars, reportedly missed the penalty against Uruguay, and his daughter Maha, 7, reportedly fainted as a result.

Ghana and Uruguay squared off on Friday, December 2, in the final group H match of the FIFA 2022 World Cup currently taking place in Qatar.

After only a few minutes of play, Ghana was awarded a penalty, which was played by Andre, however he failed to give Ghana the lead by missing the penalty shot.

According to reports, Andre’s daughter passed out following the event and was taken to the hospital.

Andre reportedly went straight to the hospital in Doha after the game to check on his daughter, who is now doing well and has since been released from the hospital.
