Be Honest To Yourself And The NDC – Ofosu Ampofo Told

BE HONEST TO YOURSELF AND THE NDC – OFOSU AMPOFO TOLD

I bring you all special greetings from and on the behalf of the gallant soldiers of the NDC.
Members of the press present, fellow akatamansonians and fellow countrymen and women. As part of the party’s political calendar, it is prudent on us to elect leadership of the party at all levels at the end of every fours years of service to the party as per our party’s constitution.

As part of preparations towards this very important exercise, aspirants have been engaged in their campaigns to tell the delegates what they can do for the party. Which we wish every aspirant a safe journey in their campaign tour and a very successful campaign.

As gallant soldiers of the party, we have observed some attempts by Mr. Ofosu Ampofo and his campaign team and would want to clear the air on such palpable lies, words of deceit and dishonesty to himself, the party and its sympathizers.

First and Foremost , our attention also has been drawn to an attempt to justify his cowardliness that, Election is not an act of violence.
We would want to draw your attention to the transition of the present day National Democratic Congress (NDC). We (NDC) have a history, we were the definition of fearlessness, courage, truthfulness and warriors. The freedom of present Ghana wouldn’t have been achieved in the fourth republic if our leaders then, were weak, timid, and cowards. It’s rather unfortunate that we are failing as a political party to adhere and uphold our founding principles and traditions. For clarity, our party emerged through toil, selfless leadership and great commitment by founding leaders. In case we’ve forgotten, we are a revolutionary party which emerged from the Armed Forces Revolution Council (AFRC) to the Provisional National Defense Council (PNDC) and then to the present day Nation Democratic Congress (NDC). This is to tell you, that we are characterized with bravery. It would be recalled that Akufo-Addo on several occasions and even prior to 2016 general elections said” he’s ready to do anything to protect and defend the NPP, it’s members and it’s votes”. This statement alone built the NPP sympathizers confidence and came all out and eventually won the general elections. So for our Chairman and leader to cowardly say “Election is not violence” and eventually pull out of the election with little treat from the NPP cannot build our confidence and also cannot lead us going into 2024, knowing very well, we will face tougher challenges than it was in 2020. We would also want the FEC and council of Elders to call him and his campaign team to order and to desist from calling Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia a violent leader

Last but not least , the Bible says in Matthew 12:34 that “for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh”. We were bewildered upon hearing Mr. Ofosu Ampofo say, the wants to save Akufo-Addo. Like seriously?, we are of the view that, without any special interest in a captain who’s deliberately sinking the ship,of what interest will you , to save him ?
Surprisingly again,he affiliated himself to the Akyem Sakawa Mafias again in his campaign launch, and I quote”I am so grateful to Ambassador Victor Smith, my brother from Akyem, my Akyem mafia brother”, clearly tells us that they are on a mission to protect and preserve the Akyem interest over and above that of the NDC.
If not so, when Akufo-Addo was maltreating the voltarians, to serve his own parochial interest, what did our chairman say or do about it, not forgetting that fact that, most of the Volta region is the party’s power house.

Lastly, in the promo yet to be aired, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo indicts the entire party of deliberately taking a voice footage of him in a meeting with the party executives, we contradicts his early claims of denial and claims of a doctored voice. We are of the conviction that, per his recent comments and utterance of late, if the alleged voice recording to proven to be true by a court of competent jurisdiction, then it was a ploy to keep himself busy at the court to escape his mandate as the national chairman in other to create room for Akufo-Addo machinery to operate without any fierce opposition. And in any case, a chairman who’s always busy at court cannot be readily available for the party when he’s needed like we witnessed.

We are by this release associating ourselves to the leader who understands the grassroots language as it has always be the internet of we, the GALLANT SOLDIERS of NDC interest to fight and protect the interest of the party and also stand by people who show greater commitment to our party at any given time and when the need arises.

Thank you.
God bless Ghana,
God bless NDC
God Bless us all

Eye zu.
