I Defended You During Your Corruption Ordeal But Now You Ignore Me- NPP Man Drags Jinapor

A member of the New Patriotic Party NPP has taken to social media to call out Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Samuel Abu Jinapor for ingratitude and arrogance after he defended him when he was accused of corruption by Aplus.

According to Ganiyu Diboriyom Alhassan, NPP big men respect those who seek to destroy them but disrespect those who rather offer them support as “despondent footsoldiers”, making reference to Abu Jinapor.

“Surprisingly those who destroy them are their friends.
Those who support and project them are considered despodent foot soldiers who need attention.” The Ashaiman NPP man wrote making an example out of his relationship with Abu Jinapor.

“My experience: A plus insult Abu Jinapor. I insult A-plus in support of Abu. A plus calls Abu, Abu picks immediately and give him all the attention he needs.

I call Abu for a week, no answer. Inspired by Anas expose. Charles said Anas was a friend. Please A-Plus forgive me. I am sorry” he wrote.

Another NPP member in support of the accusations against Abu Jinapor:

“Hmmmm say it again Boss man Ganiyu Diboriyom Alhassan I’m in the same shoes with you..i could remember when we were in opposition..anytime I call Abu he will pick or when he misses my call he will return it , but ever since we came to power..he has changed totally….i can’t even remember the last time he reads my text not to talk of picking up my call”.

Popular musician and politician, Kwame Asare Obeng alias A-Plus in 2017 accused Mr. Jinapor and his colleague Francis Asenso Boakye of fraudulent conduct regarding the award of a revenue contract by the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital involving Unibank. The Police CID investigated the matter and concluded that the allegation was “baseless”.

At the time, explaining his involvement in the whole matter Mr. Jinapor said one of his duties as Deputy Chief of staff at the Presidency, is to receive petitions on behalf of the president, Nana Akufo-Addo and act on them.

The complaint having been made, I picked up a phone and called Dr. Anyaa [Chief Executive Officer of Korle Bu] and sought to find out about the complaint I received…we spoke for about 1 minute 30 seconds.

“Having spoken to him and waiting for a response which never came, I mentioned the issue to the Minister of Health and he said he himself will intervene and deal with the matter,” he said on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show Friday, September 29, 2017.

“So far as that was concerned, I and my colleague [Asenso Boakye] have dealt with the matter,” he stated further.

Asked by the host if it was not possible for him to use his Office to compel the management of Korle Bu to give the contract to uniBank, Mr. Jinapor said he “will never, ever do that.”

Mr. Jinapor stressed that “I’m not that stupid and I won’t do that. And it never happened; it couldn’t have happened.”

“First of all there was no issue about giving a contract…it had everything to do with a process.
