The general secretary for the biggest opposition party National democratic Congress , Johnson Aseidu Nketia has stated that , The party NDC is ready to meet the ruling party and match them boot for boot at the 2024 general election . He made this during NDC Regional delegates conference held at Berekum .

The general secretary of the national democratic Congress Johnson Aseidu Nketia has stated that, the 2024 election will not be an easy task for the Npp and therefore the NDC is ready to match them boot for boot in the Bono Region and the whole country as well.
He explained that , during the 2020 election the party was able to obtain equal seats with the ruling party at the Bono Region and therefore they are more than ready to fight harder to obtain the rest of the seats from the NPP .
He said the strong hold of the Npp is now NDC seats and that shows the hard work of the executive in the party at the region.
He therefore encourage all the newly elected and unopposed executive to work tirelessly to achieve the ambition of the party.
