The voice of the people is the voice of God – Chief Biney Nixon on Bono Regional elections

One of the incumbents Deputy National Organizer and an aspirant for the main National Organizer position for the opposition National Democratic Congress, the NDC, Chief Nixon Biney has expressed his satisfaction on the successful conduct of the Youth and Women’s wings elections in the Bono Region.

The National Democratic Congress in the Bono Region on Friday, 11th November, 2022 held its tenth Delegate Conference for the Youth and Women’s wings in Sunyani at the Catering Centre to elect their leaders for the respective positions at the two wings.

In a brief interview by Mr Charles Akowuah Tuffour, the Bono Regional Communication Officer for the NDC on Masemtvgh with Chief Nixon Biney at Berekum after the elections, Chief Biney was happy for the peaceful turned of events at the end of the day.

When asked about his views on the Youth and Women’s elections, Chief Biney indicated that ”the Bono Regional elections confirm that ”what God has written, has been written”.

”Prior to the start of the elections, everyone had a preference and had made his mind and per the results I have heard, especially, the victory of Rooney (as the Youth Organizer) tells you clearly, that ”the voice of the people has always been the voice of God” Chief Biney stated.

The Bono Regional Communications Officer, who was enthused at the presence of Chief Biney throughout the program showed appreciation to him, Chief Biney, for taken a keen interest in the elections in the Bono Region.

”For the fact that you have sacrificed a whole day to stay with us at the Youth and Women’s elections in the Bono Region, shows how much you love the region and I pray, to God to grant you your heart desire” Mr Charles Akowuah Tuffour urged him.

In a heartfelt response to the prayer by Mr Akowuah, Chief Biney revealed that the Bono Region has always been his second home. ”You know it, that the Bono Region has been my second home and so when I come here to campaign and there is a special activity such as this, then, of course, I have to suspend my campaign to attend to this important activity of the party” Chief Biney indicated.

Chief Biney added ”you know that I seek to be the main organizer for the party and as the chief organizer, the main people I will organize are the youth, women and the Zongo wings and so if the Youth and the Women’s wings are having a program today, I have to be there, fully participate and support them for a successful program.
