The president of the Republic of Ghana, His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has warned Ghanaian traders to be measured by the profit they seek in Ghana’s crisis.
In his address to the nation, the president warned traders who are giving outrageous prices for good following the hardship in the country.
Akufo Addo promised the government’s outmost support to traders by implementing various measures to strengthen the economy which will go a long way to stabilise prices of goods and services.
He advised all traders to be circumspect with the way they price their goods as he has promised to cut the importation of various goods such as food stuff, bottle water, fruit juice, ceramic. He said Ghanaians need to reduce their dependency on imports and focus more on the export of goods.
“Lets be measured by the margins we. Do not try to make outmost profit out of our crisis” he said.
