An aspiring National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has said he has all the qualities needed to withstand the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.
To that end, he has appealed to delegates of the NDC to vote for him to become the next National Chairman.
The outgoing General Secretary is seeking to unseat the incumbent National Chair of the party, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo who is also lacing his boot to seek reelection.
Mr Asiedu Nketiah has picked his form to that effect and has accordingly launched his campaign in Accra today, Tuesday October 25.
Addressing the gathering, he indicated that the NPP is “ready to kill for power.”
“NDC needs a leader to stand up to the marauding NPP in 2024 elections and somebody who cannot be influenced by the opponent. It is these qualities that I humbly bring to the table.”
The NDC is preparing to elect its National Executives as part of preparations for the 2024 general elections.
