Economic crisis: Ask Ofori-Atta to seek Seth Tekper’s help – Gyampo to Akufo-Addo

A Political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana Professor Ransford Gyampo, has said it is evident that the country, will not be witnessing a reshuffle of the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, anytime soon.

Despite calls on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to reshuffle his ministers including the Finance Minister, amidst the country’s current economic challenges, Ghanaians are yet to witness a reshuffle of the current government.

In a Facebook post, the Political Science lecturer, has been sharing his thoughts on what the President should be doing.

He said if the President insists on keeping the finance Minister in his current position, then he must seek assistance from Mr Tekper in solving the economic challenges in the country.

“It is decidedly clear that Ken Ofori-Atta is beyond ministerial reshuffle.

“Mr President, please task him to seek some assistance from Seth Tekper in addressing our economic miseries,” the Political Science lecturer wrote adding that: “For, winner-knows-all politics hasn’t been helpful.”

Mr Seth Tekepr is a former Finance Minister under the John Dramani Mahama administration.
