Kennedy Agyapong will win NPP’s primaries because of his honesty — A Plus

Entertainer, showbiz analyst, and political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, known popularly as A Plus has predicted the winner of the ruling NPP’s flagbearership race.

According to A Plus, the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, will emerge the winner after the 2023 slated primaries.

In a Facebook post on Monday, September 26, sighted by Modernghana News, the seasoned highlife singer explained that the legislator has for the past years won the hearts of many in the party with his honesty.

He said the lawmaker always speaks the facts irrespective of whose OX is gored.

He added that such an attitude is what the other contenders lack, making Mr Kennedy Agyapong the best option to lead the NPP.

 

“Hon Kennedy Agyapong criticized the governments decision to go to IMF. Is he NDC? You see how popular he has become in the party? He is going to win your presidential primaries,” he said.

He added that “the people are tired of your outmoded and foolish communication style. They are looking for people who at least APPEAR honest. Not praise singers who defend every nonsense; that is why Hon Ken is winning. If you don’t see him winning then you don’t have any business being in politics.”

A Plus stressed that the downfall of NPP lies and poor communication mechanisms in recent years.

“Leadership is 90% communication and 10% facts. Your downfall is not NDC. It is your poor communication and “mad” communicators. 90% of your communicators are always one always a sentence away from the psychiatric hospital.

“I see the new leadership has assembled a new crop of sane commentators who are capable of doing a great job. I wish them well. Please communicate from your head. Not your armpit,” he reiterated.

The fact that someone is not happy with the NPP or the president doesn’t mean the person is an NDC member!! In fact, NPP members are like many Jehovah’s Witnesses. If they leave JW, they hardly join another church.
