The Police through long periods of knowledge activities yesterday sixth September 2022 recovered one of the tractors that was accounted for missing from Ellembelle in the Western Region.
A group of tasks and insight officials working constantly found the missing earthmover a few kilometers into a timberland inside the Ellembelle District.
While the group of cops was accompanying the tractor to Takoradi, at the Axim Junction, the DCE of Ellembelle, Mr. Kwasi Bonzo coordinated and drove a few hooligans to go after the police and deterred the activity.
The DCE and three others were subsequently captured likewise.
Police didn’t accept guardianship of any earthmovers as affirmed by Ellembelle DCE
Prior reports proposed that the tractors were in the ownership of the police when they disappeared.
However, the Western Regional Police Command discredited the case showing that the tractors were not in their control.
“We wish to completely express that no backhoes were given over to the police by the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ellembelle, Mr. Kwasi Bonzo or some other individual from the gathering,” their assertion said
