The Eastern Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress wishes to inform the party’s rank and file, and the general public of the upcoming Limited Registration Exercise in the Region.
This is to afford persons desirous of becoming proud members of the NDC the opportunity to get registered at the basic unit of the party (the Branch).
The exercise begins today Friday August 26, 2022 and is expected to run for two weeks (14 days).
The Registration exercise will be held at ALL Branches of the party in the Eastern Region. The exercise will be held at designated centers at the various branches as determined by the Branch executives.
In view of the importance of this exercise, Regional and National officers have been deployed to the various constituencies to supervise the exercise.
Constituency executives are therefore being duly notified to be in readiness to receive the officers deployed.
At the Constituency level, the Regional/National Team shall hold an entry conference (orientation) for the Constituency executives and other key stakeholders to brief them about the purpose of, and procedure for the Registration Exercise.
All necessary administrative and operational materials required for the Registration Exercise will be made available to the constituencies.
The secretariat urges the various Constituency Executive Committees to abide by the rules and procedures governing this exercise to help the party achieve the targeted results.
We urge all unaffiliated citizens/ electorates determined to see an end to the state capture, tyranny, corruption, incompetence and insensitivity we are currently experiencing as a nation, to take advantage and join the National Democratic Congress as it remains the only hope for Ghana going into the 2024 General elections and beyond.
