Former President John Dramani Mahama has celebrated the outgoing French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne-Sophieo Avé.
Mr Mahama said she worked to further enhance the Ghana-France relations and particularly her ‘exemplary’ promotion of Ghana’s Arts and Culture.
In a tweet, the 2020 presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said “Outgoing French Ambassador to Ghana, HE Anne-Sophie Avé, paid a farewell call on me on Friday.
“I appreciated her sterling work to further enhance the Ghana- France Relations and particularly her exemplary promotion of Ghana’s Arts and Culture.”
“We also discussed issues of mutual interest to our two countries including business and investment, development and promotion of tourism, and her love for Ghana,” he added.
