Nana Addo, Bawumia are real scammers – Hanna Bisiw

Dr Hanna Louisa Bissiw, Former Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) regime has described front runners of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government as scammers.

According to the former Member of Parliament for Tano South, President Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia used deceits lies to get the votes of Ghanaians and therefore are fraudsters.

Dr Hannah Bisiw’s comment is in relation to the numerous failed promises of the NPP government.
Recall that, President Akufo-Addo before assuming power in 2016 promised to build a factory in every district of the country. He promised to give each constituency $1m every year.

He pledged to reduce the prices of fuel and said “the hikes in fuel prices will be a thing of the past”
Nana Addo and Bawumia said “we will never go to the IMF for a bailout”
Bawumia stated apparently that “I will arrest the dollar”

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Oyerepa Breakfast Show, Thursday, August 18 2022, Dr Hanna Bisiw noted that, the NPP government led by President Akufo – Addo and Bawumia promised to make Ghana heaven on earth, yet have failed to honour their promises.

She said that whoever fails to honour his or her promises is a scammer and that Nana Addo and his NPP government should be regarded as such.

“We talk about scammers all the time but who is a scammer?
If I renovate a building and later claim I built it am I not a scammer?
If I promise to give you money for something and I fail to give it out am I not a scammer?
Vote for me, I will give each constituency $1m every year and if I fail to do it am I not a scammer?
So if we’re talking about scammers, Akufo-Addo and Bawumia are the real scammers.” Dr Hanna Bisiw emphatically stated.
