The Northern Region chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila, has passed on, 3news.com can confirm.
Alhaji Mobila died on Tuesday, August 16 after a short illness at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
As per Islamic customs, he is being buried same day.
Until his death, the NDC regional chairman was the chief of Tugu Yapalsi.
His death comes a day after another NDC stalwart, Samuel Nuamah Donkor, died.
