Kwabena Agyei Agyapong has told Ghanaians and his colleague party members that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is trying to rig the election before it starts. He was talking about the.
Kwabena Agyapong on Kessben TV’s Maakye show, told the host, Kwame Appiah Kubi that, it is very important that, the party does what is right and that will bring harmony.
He then revealed that, if Chairmen leading the party in the regional headquarters publicly come out and declare their support of a potential Presidential candidate then they are already rigging the NPP’s upcoming Presidential candidate elections.
The aspiring Presidential candidate also said that what these Chairpersons did during the delegate’s conference shows that they are trying to rig the Presidential candidate’s election before it starts.
He added that, for 15 regional chairmen to support a potential Presidential candidate in public then it shows that that person already has a handy advantage over the others. He is a step ahead of his colleagues in the election before it starts.
Kwabena Agyapong also said that he is not saying all these things because he hates Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia but because he wants the party to do what is right.
Kwabena Agyapong also added that some of these chairmen came with Dr. Bawumia’s image but didn’t bring the image of the President. This sends a message to the masses and it clearly shows that they are trying to put some impressions on the head of the party members and hence rigging the election.
