We’re hungry while others are chopping -Ex-Akufo-Addo’s bodyguard cries

A former personal bodyguard of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo whose name is given as Nana Wireko Addo has complained bitterly about the treatment meted out to him and others after the President took over power.

According to him, he has not been treated fairly since his boss took over the reins of power although he was part of the fight to ensure that then-candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo becomes President.

Nana Wireko was speaking in a video which has since gone viral on social media.

According to him, he has been called by some elements to engage in something he refused to mention but indicated that he cannot do what they expect of him.

To Nana Wireko, it is imperative that people who did not benefit from the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration be left to make their own decisions not be cajoled into decisions that won’t favour them.

“Good afternoon, I want to share a word with you people. This morning I received a call and I’m worried about the conversation that ensued. I am worried because they want me to do something for them. They told me to do some things for them but I told them that they are satisfied and should leave us the hungry ones to take our own decisions.

Those who have benefited immensely from Akufo-Addo should leave us who never benefited so that we take our own decision, don’t force us to where you want us to go. We will be angry if you do that. You have eaten for people related to you to also enjoy the goodies, those abroad have even benefitted whiles those of us who fought for the removal of John Mahama have not benefited from this administration. Please leave us to make our own decisions,” he said.
