Ghana police run to court on Arise Ghana Demonstration timetable at the eleventh hour

The Ghana police service has filed Court injunction against Arise Ghana Demonstration.

According to the Ghana police service, The agreement between the police service and Arise Ghana Group was not concluded.

Due to Time and location which was planned for the Demonstration according the the Police Service.

The Ghana police service stated that, on there first meeting with Arise Ghana Group they made it clear that, Demonstration should not travel into night.

But on Jun 22, 2022, the Police received a verbal response from the organisation to the effect that, they are unable to change the time of the Demonstration.
