Nkoranza to have face lift in infrastructure – Bono East Regional Minister

As part of Bono East Regional Minister’s working visits to Municipalities and Districts in his region, on Monday June 20 he visited Nkoranza South Municipal.

With him were the regional coordinating director, regional fire and MTTD commanders, Bono East Regional NPP chairman and some other dignitaries.

Welcoming the hon. Minister and his entourage at the Nkoranza Traditional Council, the chief Lindquist who spoke on behalf of the Omanhene of Nkoranza traditional area, Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, admonished that the streets within the township are so poor
Which need to be fixed.

Nana added that,some community roads like Dotobaa, Nyinase, Dompoase among others have all deteriorated.

Nana ingeminated that the Omanhene of Nkoranza traditional area and his subjects are anxious to have Nkoranza Municipal Hospital constructed.

The Hon. Minister Kwasi Adu Gyan, addressing the chiefs and the people of Nkoranza firmly said Nkoranza town roads are his concerns too. Some 20 kilometers are being worked on and that, soon contractors will come to start work on some 12 kilometers.

Hon. Minister also affirmed the president’s commitment on the construction of Nkoranza Municipal Hospital which he (president) cut sod on in September 2020. He said that by close of July contractors will be available on site.

Finally on infrastructure, the Hon. Minister aver to the people of Nkoranza that their market is going to see a facelift. Government has earmarked 5.3m cedis for a state-of-the-art market facility for Nkoranza.
