AshantiGold goal machine Yaw Annor equals Ishmael Addo’s Ghana Premier League top-scorer record after 21 years

AshantiGold SC striker Yaw Annor has finally equalled Ishmael Addo’s twenty-two (22) goals in a single Ghana Premier League season.

A first half brace from the 24-year-old striker against Bibiani Goldstars in the match-day 34 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season on Sunday afternoon.

Hearts of Oak legendary striker Ishmael Addo set the record of notching 22 goals after a blistering output during the 2002 Ghana Premier League season.

Annor has now equalled Ghanaian top-flight league top scorer record after 21 years following his brace against Bibiani Goldstars.
