Sunyani East Constituency Npp Elections: You Cannot Come To Equity With Unclean Hands – Baba Amando Fights Deputy Attorney General

In the last Regional Elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the then Brong-Ahafo Region, there was an injunction imposed on Berekum West Atebubu Amantin Constituencies and “Henewaa Chambers” was leading the charge.

In fact, two leading Party stalwarts in the Region both of whom were lawyers spoke to the issue that, the elections should be halted due to the injunction, but guess what?

The then Chairman of the Regional Elections Committee of the Party who is today Dep Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Hon Alfred Tuah Yeboah had this to say,

“This is an internal election and anyone who is so opposed to this election because of this so called injunction, may leave the premises. After all, you are not part of the Committee and can’t dictate to us“.

In fact, in the absence of the Electoral Commission, the Chairman of the Committee who made the above statement proceeded to hold the elections and winners were declared.

He is however interestingly empowering his followers today to fight the Party with series of injunctions in the Sunyani East Constituency.

Well, like it happened under his watch as chairman of the Elections Committee, we shall proceed to hold every election. You cannot come to equity with unclean hands.

This world cannot be more beautiful than it is now?
