Your Leadership Style Isn’t Worth Emulation – Sam George To Kyei-Mensah-Bonu

-The Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency in the Greater Accra Region has slammed the Majority Leader of Parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, for his leadership style.

Mr. Sam Nartey George argued that the Majority Leader’s actions have been problematic since the eighth Parliament, which was led by Speaker S.K Bagbin.

Mr. Kyei-Mensah-reign Bonsu’s has been marred by a series of acts of irresponsibility on the floor, according to him.

The National Democratic Congress’ MP made the remark in response to the Majority Leader’s press conference last Friday, in which he described Minority members seeking an injunction from the Supreme Court to stop the implementation of the Electronic Levy, also known as E-levy, as “much I do about nothing.”

Mr. Sam George believes the Majority Leader’s leadership is unworthy of imitation.

He stated that the Majority Leader, who is also a Member of Parliament for the governing New Patriotic Party’s Suame Constituency in the Ashanti Region, has been irresponsible on all fronts, including the management of Parliament’s business.

He emphasized, among other things, that the Majority Leader’s cutting of an E-Levy cake on his birthday was the height of irresponsibility.

“Which leader would treat his own colleagues with such contempt when a major issue is on the table and consensus is needed?”

“It was amazing how the MP turned around and accused the Minority of giving him an E-levy-shaped cake for his birthday when the public was outraged by his irresponsible acts.”

“Which responsible leader would act in this manner?” he wondered.

In an interview on Accra-based Neat FM today, Monday, April 25, 2022, the NDC MP made these remarks about the Majority Leader’s leadership style.
