North Tobgu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has disputed charges that he utilized private jets while acting as Deputy Minister of Education in the government.
Claims that he used private planes were labeled as “demented rants,” “hallucinations,” and “clear fabrications,” according to him.
His remarks follow the publication of records by Assin Central lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong, demonstrating that Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa, who has repeatedly chastised President Akufo-Addo for flying private planes, travelled in multiple opulent and unique private jets during the Mills/Mahama era.
“On February 15th, 2010, he left on a special airplane and returned on February 17th, 2010.” What is a special/chartered flight, Okudzeto? Mr Agyapong stated, “On March 7th, Okudzeto Ablakwa flew out of the country again with Emirates’ EK-782, and returned on March 11th with another Emirates’ EK-781.”
