Ing Lewis Ofori Amankona retains chairmanship position as UENR Alumni Association

The incumbent Global Chairman of the University of Energy and Natural Resources Alumni Association, ing Lewis Ofori Amankona has retained his position as the Global Chairman.

Ing Lewis Ofori Amankona, who is a lecturer at the Sunyani Technical University pulled 689 as against his only contender, Mr Ania K Peter who managed 457 votes.

The election, which was earlier on scheduled for December 2021, suffered a court injunction from the camp of Mr Ania K Peter, raising various concerns leading to the suspension of the election.

Ing Lewis Ofori Amankona while in School was elected the SRC Secretary and Mr Ania K Peter, elected the Local NUGS President in 2015/6 academic year.
