The National Intelligence Bureau, formerly known as the Bureau of National Intelligence, has arrested Mr SaCut Amenga-Etego.
The Social Media activist and the freelance journalist was clandestinely arrested yesterday after a court proceedings, according to sources.
Mr SaCut Amenga-Etego is the petitioner against Mr Paul Adom-Otchere, the Board Chairman of the Ghana Airport Company Limited to CHRAJ following the allegation of procurement breaches for a Christmas tree for decoration at the christmas festivities.
The social media activist and the freelance journalist, according to report, is currently investigating a case of extortion of some Indian business men in Ghana by some security operatives.
Mr Brogya Genfi, an active member of the opposition National Democratic Congress revealed this in his brief write-up, calling on the National Security operatives to free Mr SaCut Amenga-Etego.
Mr Brogya Genfi, who is not happy about how journalists and social media activists are being harassed by state security operatives for coming out with matters of corruption related issues to the public are manhandled, blamed the Akufo-Addo government.

1. NDC Activist and freelance Journalist, SaCut Amenga-Etego has been arrested by operatives of the National Intelligence Bureau, formerly BNI.
2. The Officers have refused to release him since yesterday.
3. Sacut has been investigating a case of extortion of some Indian business men in Ghana by some security operatives.
4. Sacut was in court yesterday to follow the case and was arrested after court proceedings.
5. He has been accused of taking pictures of the NIB operatives after the case has been adjourned yesterday.
6. Readers are reminded that the petition against Paul Adom-Otchere at CHRAJ on allegations of abuse of office about the procurement of Christmas Tree was filed by Sacut.
7. It appears some NIB operatives having realised he is the Petitioner in the CHRAJ case and also following the Indian case, decided to show him where power lies.
