Will Yaw Ansah contest as chairman for Tano North Constituency?

There has been an incessant rumour by sections of the members of the National Democratic Congress in the Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region for a change in their chairmanship position.

According to these sections, the time has come for a youth to lead the affairs of the Party at the Tano North Constituency to bring in more energy to rejuvenate the grassroots ahead of the all important impending General Election in 2024.

The members, who have opined that, winning both the Parliamentary and the presidential elections in Tano North required an extraordinary energy and a zeal of constantly moving across all the various branches to propagate the excellent policies of the National Democratic Congress.

Members of this section at Tano North recommended Mr Yaw Ansah to lead the NDC in Tano North as he is the one with these qualities.

”Yaw Ansah has over the years exhibited quality traits of an exceptional leadership coupled with his vast years of experience in our local politics is the ideal candidate to lead us as the Constituency Chairman into the 2024 General Elections” one member stated.

Another member said ”we need a chairman who can efficiently and eloquently explain our policies to the base to compliment the work of the communication machinery at all times”.

In addition, ”Yaw Ansah’s experience in the local politics and in his youthful age is an added advantage to the NDC to attract the youth, who are the majority people in the constituency. Yaw Ansah understands and speaks the language of the youth” one woman indicated.

Yaw Ansah, until his resignation to contest in the maiden Regional Election in the Ahafo Region, was the incumbent Constituency Communication Officer for the Tano North Constituency of the National Democratic Congress.

According to sources, Mr Yaw Ansah has been in this position since 2008 as the then Propaganda Secretary, through to the communication officer after the name for that position was changed in 2014.
