Ralph Waldo Emerson in once said “Our chief want is someone who will inspire us to be what we know we could be.”
Some few years ago when I received that call from you to play a role in the Ghana first struggles, as the communications Director, honestly I did not know what was expected of me, I actually did not know how I was supposed to do it, your trust and support saw me through and today here is how far the Lord’s grace has brought us.
Comrade Eric Edem Agbana, a name that resonate very well with thousand of young people who aspire to achieve greatness.
On that faithful day in 2018, you gave me a big job! When you brought myself and other young people into the Ghana first team, as stated earlier I did not even have an idea what and how am I was going to do that job. But you trusted me with responsibilities that gave me opportunities to show what I got, that’s how you allowed me to learn. And whenever I did something great, you were quick, in fact the first to tell me so. You just don’t know how moments like those and how your encouraging words built my confidence.
You allowed me to grow and develop under your wings, you inspired me to continue to achieve greatness, you introduced me to a lot that shattered the glass ceiling for some of us whose only hope of this kind of recognition was miracle. You patiently mentored me in the skills and values that I need to be good at what I do.
I also witnessed how much importance you gave to your team, to you it was just a team but a family that needed each other’s support.
I worked with other good bosses, but it turned out, you are one of a kind. I guess, it’s fair to say that the has in you a really good person – a loving brother, a thoughtful biss, a true conrade and one helluva partner in other Godly crimes.
I bless the day I met you sir, I trust and have high hopes for the future with you, as someone who has dedicated his life to inspiring possibilities, I believe with you there a light at the end of the tunnel.
Thank you for being the boss and comrade you have always been to me. Happy birthday boss.
