It is a common thing in our Ghanaian political space to see governments and political figures abandoning developmental projects initiated by their predesuccesors.
However, Hon Vincent Oppong Asamoah, the NDC Member of Parliament for Dormaa West Constituency has done something different.
At a durbar organized by the chiefs and the good people of the Constituency at the Dormaa West District Hospital, the hard-working and matured legislator broke the good news to his people to continue and complete the sixty bed capacity children’s ward initiated by the past NPP member of parliament, Hon Aliu Maiga.
In a joyful mood, the chief of Nkrankwanta, Nana Baffour Akyea Kombi thanked their selfless Member of Parliament for showing and exhibiting such a political maturity.
The enthusiastic chief commended it to all politicians in Ghana to emulate Hon Vincent Oppong Asamoah’s matured political qualities.
The project would be financed from the MP’s common fund and donations.
A seed money of GHC 20,000.00 was given by Hon Vincent Oppong Asamoah.
Hon. Vincent Oppong Asamoah, also donated eight ultramodern wheelchair to the Hospital to aid their operations..
After the function, the constituents expressed their appreciation and gratitude to their MP for showing this extraordinary political maturity.
