Tain MP supports physically challenged persons with modernized wheel chairs

The Member of Parliament for Tain, Hon. Sulemana Adama (Hon. Ramzy) within the week distributed modernized wheelchairs to over forty (40) Physically Challenged Persons within his Constituency.

Couple of days ago, about two of them visited the office of the MP to request for wheelchairs to support their movement. The MP, Hon. Ramzy thought it wise to do broader consultations across the constituency to ascertain whether others will need such assistance. It later came up that over forty (40) people across the four zones were in need of wheel chairs to support their movement around.

The MP was seen within the week distributing such to all the persons who submitted their names through the various coordinators across the length and breadth of the constituency.

“It’s very unfortunate to be in such situation but no one can challenge the doings of our maker. When I received the request, I was saddened because a portion of the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF) is allocated to cater for you the Physically challenged. I could not sit on this issue but to act speedily on it as it impedes on your freedom of movement.” Said the MP – Hon Ramzy.

The people were filled with so much joy and called on our maker to strengthen the MP in his quest to serve the good people of Tain. They thanked him and blessed his benevolent hand to perform more acts for them to also find a means of living.

The MP then gave them an assurance of his commitment to assist them to relief them of some of their major challenges. “It is very obvious that I have your data already and so in my planning I will put you in the centre of it in order not to forget you. Even though there are other forms of physically challenged persons, your number gives us some hope that we can work together for you to also feel secured as far as the resources of the MP is concern”.

I will be your father and also be in your shoes, and I think by so doing we can collaborate to help you well” he added.
