Hon Sulemana Adama inspects ongoing road projects at Tain

The Member of Parliament for Tain, Hon. Sulemana Adama, affectionately called Hon. Ramzy on Tuesday the 11th of January, 2022 with his entourage visit the ongoing road project in his constituency which is as a result of his lobby.

During the 2020 electioneering season the then Candidate of the biggest opposition party National Democratic Congress promised the people that should they vote for him to be the Member of Parliament, he will do everything within his means and resources to address the challenges of the constituency of which road network is not an exception.

After a year in office, he has been spotted on many occasions advocating for the roads to be worked on to ensure smooth access to health care, education and many others which are directly or indirectly dependent on road network.

As a fruit from his labour the 21km road linking Badu through Mmoakwae, Ansukrom and other communities to Agyeikrom near Njau/Tanoso in the Nsawkaw Zone has been awarded by the Feeder Roads Authority and the project is currently ongoing.

At the time of the visit, the Foreman and other workers were off duty due to a minor fault on the caterpillar. Meanwhile the assistant operator was there doing some leveling of the already cleared stretch of the road.

Upon seeing the Honourable MP he was excited and pledged to work together with their team for a perfect work for the good people living along the stretch of the 21km feeder road from Badu to Agyeikrom.

The Hon MP expressed his gratitude for the good start they have giving to the work and assured them of his commitment to collaborate with them to elevate the people of the current state of the road.

“I am very much excited to see you doing this great job, in fact the people of this area have suffered for long and this will give them some kind of relief at least on the issue of the road. I will not be available all the time due to the nature of the Parliamentary duty but I promise to as much as possible collaborate with you.”

When interacting with the people of Mmoakwae where the project has so far reached, he urged them to corporate with the contractor for him to perform his duty well for the benefit of all.

The Odikro of Mmoakwae also thanked the Honourable MP for sticking to his promise and as Oliver Twist asks for more, pleaded to him to help them on other pressing issues.
