Forfeit your chieftaincy and join the NDC – Abronye ‘jabs’ Dormaahene

The acidic like Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Bono Region has asked the President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs and the King of the Dormaa Traditional Council to forfeit his chieftaincy and join the National Democratic Congress.

Addressing a press conference in Sunyani on Friday, January 14, the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP expressed skepticism about the recent comments by the Dormaahene for calling on President Akufo-Addo not to abandon projects initiated by the Mahama government.

Speaking to the media, Kwame Baffoe Abronye alleged that the comments by the Dormaahene were inaccurate and that Dormaahene has been feeding into the ‘lies’ of the NDC in the Bono Region.

”I want to state categorically that considering his recent unsubstantiated utterances which have proven to be highly in-factual and inaccurate he should consider forfeiting his chieftaincy and join the NDC if he so wishes so he could be addressed as such if he seeks to continue with pushing the
propaganda and agenda of the NDC” Abronye stated.

Abronye further indicated that, should the Dormaahene continued with his propaganda against the Akufo-Addo government, then he, the Dormaahene should be prepared to receive same if not more.

”I am therefore entreating Dormaahene not to reduce his respected seat to cheap politics and propaganda because same will directly bring disrepute to his seat” he added.
