Attitude of some police officers hindering crime prevention – Bono Police

The Police administration is asking for the general public to overlook bad attitude of some officers which has become hindrance to crime prevention in the city.

According to Bono Regional Police Command Public Relations Officer (PRO), ASP Augustine Kingsley Oppong, the command is in dire need of public support but attitude of some officers are preventing the public to help.

“We are envious because we are human beings. We live in the same community with you. We clash sometimes but don’t look at our bad attitude and deny us support”, the PRO spoke on ARK in the morning show hosted by Kwabena Obeng Akfrofi.

“Individuals and philanthropists should come to our aid. We need fuel and air conditioners as well as information from the public that could lead to arrest and possible prosecution of criminals”, ASP Augustine Kingsley Oppong appealed.

The Police PRO also promised to conceal identity of people who will volunteer information to police.
