The District Chief Executive for Techiman North in the Bono East region Addo Donkor Everson has called on the contractor working on the Buoyem-Asueyi-Mesiden road to ensure it is completed on time.
Mr. Everson Addo Donkor made this observation in an interview with Kwadwo Adu at Tuobodom when he visited some road sites in the district.
The said roads he explained have been awarded to Stevemeans Construction Ltd and Perzoo Constructions in 2021as described as ‘year of roads’ by the government.
Mr. Addo Donkor said contractors should ensure value for money as he advocates for quality work.
The Buoyem-Asueyi-Mesiden road according to the DCE has been abandoned for about ten years and its completion would be a massive breakthrough for the elephant party as they champion the ‘break the eight’ cause.
The road after completion he added, will harness transportation and ease challenges faced by commuters.
He said his outfit has had several meetings with the sector Minister, Kwasi Amoako-Atta and is reliably informed that contractors responsible for the project will soon be on site to commence work and is hopeful it will be completed under the current administration.
Mr. Donkor also commended the contractor of Tuobodom town roads for good work done so far and encouraged other to imitate.
The Techiman North DCE thanked the Nana Addo government for their share of the developmental projects.
