The Member of Parliament for the Tain Constituency has assured the Akori community of taking up the necessary steps to commission their CHPS Compound for them.
The Member of Parliament made this announcement on Tain Fm on Friday, January 7, during his address to the good people of Tain to mark his one year in office as the Member of Parliament for Tain Constituency.
Hon Adama Sulemana in his interaction with the good people of Tain on radio announced that he has had a deeper interaction with the District Chief Executive for the district on the state of the Akori CHPS Compound.
”I have had an extensive discussion with the DCE on this project. What came out was that the remaining works have been entrusted with the director to ensure its operationalisation” he said.
When asked by the host to find out whether the Akori CHPS Compound has already been commissioned, the Member of Parliament responded in affirmative.
”I have been assured that all the requisite equipment and materials, including motorbikes have been bought” he said.
The Member of Parliament assured the Akori community that he will continue to make the necessary follow ups at the district assembly to ensure that the CHPS Compound is put into operationalisation for the community to have easy access to improved healthcare delivery.
