NPP MPs rally behind Ellen Ama Daaku as the next women organizer

The position of the Women’s Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kate Gyamfuah has come under serious threat after Ellen Ama Daaku is seen lacing her boot to contest her in the upcoming internal elections.

Kate Gyamfuah will face stiff opposition from Ellen Ama Daaku who has built a massive following for herself in the last year and is on a restoration journey to ensure that women in the New Patriotic Party are well represented.

Our sources within the New Patriotic Party say some bigwigs who have not been happy with the administration of Kate Gyamfuah are throwing their weight behind Ellen who they believe will breathe some fresh air into the women’s wing of the governing political party.

There is the belief that Kate Gyamfuah has lost touch with the grassroots of the party especially, because of her role in the party losing the Akwatia seat.

They believe but for her influence in getting Ama Sey out of the way, the New Patriotic Party will not have lost the Akwatia seat.

With the struggles in Parliament, some members of the governing political party believe that it’s time to boot her out of the way to bring in new people with fresh ideas to make the political party move forward.
